26th November 2004. TDK Mediactive and CFC CarFilm Components, a manufacturer of premium car styling products, today announced a cooperation which will allow TDK Mediactive to integrate original designs of CFC’s successful range of car body vinyls into the upcoming racing game World Racing 2. In the game players will now be able to modify the style of their favourite cars by choosing from a great selection of car body vinyls.

“Car body vinyls have become an important element with regards to a stylish finish of tuned cars,“ explained Marcus-Marcel Knoch, CEO of CFC CarFilm Components. “Tribal, Asian style motives and extreme designs are a must for every tuning fan to express the unique style of his individual car.”

Andreas Kaehmer, Senior Manager Marketing & Business Development at TDK Mediactive, commented: “The popularity of car styling products reflects a great enthusiasm for cars with an individually styled look. Focussing on the fun aspect in World Racing 2, it has been necessary for our developers to integrate styling options into the game. The cooperation with CFC now allows us to offer authentic designs, which are well known in the car tuning community.”

CFC CarFilm Components is designing, manufacturing and distributing premium car styling components in Europe and the USA. The company’s products range from protective foils and grill meshes to neon ground kits, auto glass films and car body vinyls.

World Racing 2 will put the fun of driving at centre stage and offer optimised arcade racing characteristics, a rich and varied range of mission modes, lively scenarios, enhanced tuning options and a great variety of integrated cars. World Racing 2 is currently scheduled to be released in 2005 for Xbox, PC and PlayStation2.
